Emma Griffith is a Senior Director and the Head of Surveillance in Fitch Ratings' Global Infrastructure and Project Finance Group. Emma joined Fitch in 2009. Emma covers a variety of sectors in the infrastructure space, including transportation, energy, and public-private partnership (P3) projects. Emma is a subject matter expert in the seaport sector, and has served as lead analyst on major port and airport transactions including the Ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, Seattle, Montreal Gateway Terminals, LaGuardia Gateway Partners, and Orlando Airport, among others. Prior to joining Fitch Ratings, Emma spent five years in Morgan Stanley’s Transportation and Infrastructure investment banking team, where she covered corporate clients in the airport, aviation, seaport, and shipping spaces in both Europe and the Americas. Emma received a Master’s degree in Economics from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris, France. She is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business, where she received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA from the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition, she is a member of the Municipal Analysts Group of New York. In 2017, she was named a “Rising Star” by the Bond Buyer.
